Calling ALL SOUTH SCHOOL STUDENTS for an afternoon of after school fun! Please join the everyone at Fundapalooza. It will be held on Friday, March 29th from 3:00pm-6:00pm. The school store will also be open during Fundapalooza and the following week during lunches (until the inventory is gone).
We have an amazing committee of 5th graders that have conceived of this event in its entirety, and they are very excited about it.
We ask that every 5th grader volunteers for at least one station and that at least one parent per 5th grade student volunteers for the event itself or helps with supplies or equipment. The event runs from 3:00pm-6:00pm.
The registration page link and the volunteer sign up links are belowl.
Please register ALL 5th graders. As long as the 5th grader volunteers, they are free of charge (all other children in your family will need to pay).
The funds netted from Fundapalooza and the school store will go to defray the costs of the yearbook, Survivor Day (lunch, materials, t-shirts, and bandannas), and class shirts (which will be worn on Field Day and at the Celebration of Learning at the end of the year).
Once we know how much money is raised, we will send an email out letting everyone know how much is still owed for the Grade 5 end-of-the-year activities.
The Fundapalooza event is open to all children in grades K-5.
Watch for an upcoming email with the volunteering sign up (for parents, kids and teachers).
As this is their fundraiser - all 5th Graders are asked to sign up for at least one volunteering slot. Volunteering will clash with at least one of their events they want to participate in. In this case volunteering comes before participation for the 5th Graders. If all (88) 5th Graders help - we will have 2 students per station per time slot. Volunteering is more fun, if you do it with a friend, so make sure that you sign your kid up for the same time and station as their friend. NOTE: there will always be at least one adult per timeslot and station with them. So if you can volunteer at the same time as your child-this also could be a fun expierience!!!
