Andover was thrust into the national spotlight yesterday due to multiple fires and explosions caused by gas leaks throughout Andover, North Andover and Lawrence. Our town is grateful for all the first responders that helped keep our families as safe as possible.
The South School PTO and our wonderful administrators, teachers and staff have generously offered their help and assistance to the families in our community that were affected by this horrible situation. Please reach out to us via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or Facebook if you need help!
Here is a message from our kind-hearted Principal, Tracy Crowley, and Assistant Principal, Kathleen Caron:
To our South School Community,
We are responding to the tragic events that happened in Andover, North Andover and Lawrence yesterday. Mrs. Caron and I watched tearfully with our families as details come out over the local and national media on TV and on Twitter.
We hope you are all safe and your homes are intact. Mrs. Caron and I would like to offer anyone a place to stay if you need shelter. I live in Chelmsford and Mrs. Caron lives in Winchester. We also have several staff who have offered their homes as shelters. Please don't hesitate to reach out to us. We are a family!
Tracy and Kathy
